Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. - Soren Kierkegaard

Driving in your car is a luxury. Most people on the planet have never owned one, nor even imagined that they could drive one. Does everyone reading this understand that concept? That we lead a privledged life?

Anywho that isn't the point! The point is you get in your car and start driving. Sometimes you are out to enjoy the ride. Other times you are in a hurry and need to be someplace. Its usually one of those two cases right? Maybe a third, you've left on time and will arrive on time. So that brings us to the case when you are in a hurry.

If you are in a hurry you will probably speed. Some of us speed on a regular basis just because going slow doesn't feel right. That's fine. Of course there is always that guy in the fast lane that just isn't going fast enough. You move up behind them, and wait. If they don't move over its probably for a good reason right? Probably pre-occupied, or don't want to move over.

Think about it though, they are already going fast. If the limit is 55 and they are going 65, they are already 10 over. You just want to go faster. Fine pass them, whatever. But don't do what this moron did to me today.

Get ROAD RAGE. Its ridiculous to get mad at someone else cause they aren't going fast enough. Especially if their reason for not going fast enough is being busy with something else. Here I was cruising along at a little over the speed limit. I was talking on my mobile phone (with the head set, don't worry) and I look in my rear view to notice a car there. Not only is he there, he is actually a foot off my bumper. I said wow, he's in a hurry. So after I pass a few cars I was going by, I was going to move over.

This guy is upset that I don't take the absolute first option I had to move over. So he comes even closer. I said you know what, I'm already going quite fast. I don't need to move over.

He passes me on the inside, and cuts me off basically. Okay that was rude, of course he is still really mad. So he lets off the gas... cute, but I ignore it. I'm not in a hurry. I'm still talking on the phone anyway. My exit is a few ahead, and so I get over to exit. So does this guy... as the exit lane appears, I move over, and guess what SO DOES THIS GUY. I said to myself sigh... how immature. Of course we pull up to the light, and this guy makes sure he pulls next to me, rolls his window down and starts saying something to me.

I ignore him, and raise my headset to make sure he knows I'm on the phone. I didn't hear what he said, but I'm sure it wasn't something nice. He then gets fed up with trying to talk to me, and makes a LEFT on RED. Unreal.

I wish him the best of luck, and I hope next time he is in a hurry he doesn't take a side trip and visit me. I helps me prove that the idiots still out number us.
